An early pre-season signing. Both goalkeepers to sign new contracts. A transfer record busting striker to arrive (when Garty works out where he lives). The good news has continued for Bolton today with the news that Daniel Braaten is to leave the club.
Braaten joined Bolton before the start of last season after performing well on YouTube, but has been a disappointment. The Norwegian was previously best known for performing the seal dribble, but at the Reebok, he has displayed another characteristic of that animal, namely lying on the floor and hoping that someone will throw him food.
Stig Lillejord, the players agent said: ‘The situation for Daniel has been far from perfect since the managerial change.
‘We are now considering alternatives. He should join a competitive league and a club where he can strengthen the starting XI.’
Daniel can strengthen Bolton`s starting eleven by not being in it. Fans are being asked not to offer to drive him to the airport, as that scheme is massively over-subscribed.
