According to sources, Bolton are negotiating with Johan Elmander after agreeing a fee of around £10 million with Toulouse. There appear to be some doubts about the striker`s nationality, at least according to the ever reliable Daily Mirror
With Elmander below his best with Holland at Euro 2008 and his club only just avoiding relegation from the French top flight last term, Megson believes he can get them to lower their £16m valuation.
The manager of the Swedish national side has yet to comment.
