The first fixture of the 2014/2015 season was revealed today with Bolton finding out their league cup (Capital One Cup) first round opponents.

Following today’s draw Bolton know that they’ll be taking on league 2 outfit Bury, with the game being played at Macron Stadium on the week commencing 11th August.

These sides have previous in the league cup with Bolton beaten by Bury one-nil over a decade again, back in 2002. Avoiding that would be the aim in one of the first (maybe the first) games played under the newly named Macron Stadium.
