Possible outgoings are imminent, aren’t they?

Well, well, we have had a busy week, haven`t we? The Hayden White and Conor Wilkinson heists were rubber-stamped, Alex Baptiste and Robert Hall both updated their fashion portfolios featuring their new apparel and Jermaine Beckford`s imminent arrival makes it 6? Count them, 6 new signings at the Reebok! All done and dusted before Andy Murray departs Wimbledon? Unbelievable.

While we all revel in our manager`s skill with negotiations, I`m going to cast an eye over the possible departures Dougie may have planned, or placed upon him, to justify signing the members of his new look crew.

Sam Ricketts

The 31-year-old full-back looks very likely to join the Molineux ranks after the clubs agreed an undisclosed six-figure fee for his services. After Bolton finally sealed the capture of Blackpool right back Alex Baptiste, Dougie informed Sam he will not be guaranteed regular first-team football. In all probability, Sam Ricketts will be the first departure from the Reebok this summer, as early as today. Good luck, Sam.

Matt Mills

Mills was strongly linked to Leeds a few weeks ago but Elland Road`s limited transfer purse barely opened to materialise an offer. There were mumbles of a 12 month loan deal but nothing concrete arched its way from over the Pennines. Dougie has stated, Mills is happy to stay and fight for his place, but I get the feeling Mr Freedman would pull the trigger if a satisfactory offer was lodged. Got a feeling this isn`t over so watch this space?

Lee Chung-Yong

The South Korean enjoyed a consistent second half to last season at the Reebok Stadium after his recovery from the horrendous, unnecessary leg break. New Everton manager Roberto Martinez is thought to be looking at the 24-year-old as he prepares to re-shape the squad he inherited from David Moyes and Paolo Di Canio- having already made several new signings this summer- is thought to be casting an eye over the tricky winger. However, like our reliable Bolton News reporter, Marc Iles stated, Chungy`s agent has been busy.

David Ngog and Marvin Sordell

I`ve paired these two together because what`s been speculated about them, in regards to departing the club, didn`t warrant a separate write-up. David has been quoted in a French newspaper stating a return to Ligue 1 would be fantastic and apparently Bordeaux have been tracking Ngog since January. As of yet, however, no offer has been made.
Marvin is continually being linked to a return to London, but Charlton Athletic is the only name which follows the sentiment. Again, no monetary enquiry has been submitted.

What are your thoughts on outgoings? Will there be any more after Ricketts? Does there need to be?
