Not much to report on the final day of the loan window for Bolton Wanderers

Looking at the bottom right corner of my computer screen, the clock reads 17:27. Unless I`m very much mistaken, the loan window is now closed?

I wanted to make sure business had concluded before I relayed any of the Reebok happenings to the Vital Bolton site. So, unless there are some last-second deals being finalised behind the scenes, here`s what I know for sure?

Craig Davies went out on loan and came back again so quickly, you`d swear he didn`t even leave the Reebok Stadium car park. Oh, that`s right, he didn`t.

The Wanderers of Wolves agreed to take Bolton`s 27-year-old Welsh international striker for the foreseeable? but pulled the plug on the deal stating only that they`d changed their mind.
That`s their prerogative, I suppose, but what made them change their mind so quickly after the deal had been struck is anybody’s guess. Maybe the ‘injury` Cravies is harbouring is more significant than what is being advertised. Who knows?

Another on the outgoing list is Thomas Eaves who has rejoined Shrewsbury Town on loan until early next year.

The 21-year-old only returned to Bolton on Monday after a three-month spell at Rotherham was halted following a lack of game-time. He made just one league start in two months.
But now, he has headed back down to Shropshire to link-up with the Shrews, where he scored 6 goals in 10 games on loan last term.

And I`m afraid, that`s your lot.
