Will Stuart Holden earn a new contract?

First of all…
The news, Stuart Holden will be offered a new contract in the summer, is the disclosure many Whites’ fans were waiting for. Some, however- according to social media- believe it to be a waste of money.
Recently returning at Euxton for training, the Holden’s contract expires at the end of the season and it is understood a deal is in place to keep the American at the Reebok next into term.
No pressure is on Stuart to play and no time limit is set for his rehabilitation, but Freedman’s private conversation with the midfielder has put him at ease in regards to his future at Bolton Wanderers.
It is now up to Holden to prove his worth for the contract awaiting him.
