Firstly I must apologise for not adding anything this week until now, I have been on holiday (technically I still am) but will now start working through the updates of a few things this week.
At the beginning of this week reports were claiming that rivals Blackburn Rovers were looking to sign Alex Baptise, with the defender targeted after missing out on Jack Hunt and Lee Peltier.
It’s been claimed all summer, having lost his place in the side towards the end of last season, that he wanted to leave Bolton but since the Bolton News reported this on Sunday, or Monday nothing more has been said and he’s still a Bolton player.
As the week progressed another name linked with a Bolton exit was Craig Davies, with Chesterfield said to be ‘poised to test the water’ to see if they can bring him in on loan.
Loaning him for six-months is what the Bolton News said they were after with Dougie Freedman willing to let this happen, probably, should the sale of Marvin Sordell to Burnley go through and a move for Lukas Jutkiewicz come off.
Do you think one or both will go or do you think this was nothing more than rumour with little basis to it?
