With the Euro 2016 group stages over, we look at how the ex Bolton players got on in the final round of group games

Blerim Dzemaili

Par for his tournament so far, Dzemaili had a few shots playing behind the lone striker, but neither he nor his Swiss teammates could break down France as they drew 0-0 in Lille. Switzerland did finish second in the group however, and take on Poland in the second round on Saturday afternoon.

Rating: 6/10

Gary Cahill

Had a few chances down the other end, but not much for him to do in defence as England dominated the ball but couldn’t actually break down Slovakia in Monday night’s goalless draw.

Rating: 6/10

Daniel Sturridge

Linked well with Nathaniel Clyne down the right side, but he was nowhere near as effective as he can be in that wide position

Rating: 6/10

Jack Wilshere

Looked as though he was struggling, he was trying but in the end Wayne Rooney replaced him early in the second half

Rating: 6/10

Vladimir Weiss

Slovakia went forward very little but when they did, Weiss was often with the ball. Tracked back a lot and but in some tackles.

Rating: 6/10

Eidur Gudjohnsen

Unused substitute in Iceland’s 2-1 win over Austria. Could turn out against England in the next round.

Jonathan Walters

Injury again kept him out, with Ireland beating Italy 1-0 to secure a spot in the last 16.

And yes, I realised I’ve given everybody 6/10!
