Hull City striker and former Bolton favourite Henrik Pedersen has quit English football and returned home to Denmark, for family reasons.
The less than great Dane, was something of a cult figure at the Reebok (watch the spelling there, McCormick) but not for the usual reasons. It wasn`t that he was good. On the contrary, he was a bit rubbish, but Pedders could always be relied on to give his all and didn`t complain, when at the age of 30 he had to convert from centre-forward to left-back, a move which left many Wanderers fans sobbing with fear. Pedersen will be joining former club Silkeborg on returning to his homeland. We wish him well.
