There was some unusual cheer for Bolton Wanderers this morning with news that Gary Cahill could return within four weeks. The initial diagnosis was that the central defender would be out for the rest of the season after a blood clot had formed in his arm.
‘I don`t want to get ahead of ourselves, he`s been through a traumatic time, but we have been reassured by the specialist that the clot is completely dissolved. I would hope he`d be back within four weeks.`
