It’s been a poor month, but still vote now!

January has been a poor month. We gave Crystal Palace a fright in the FA Cup, but there was measly return of one point from three games in the league, then Zach Clough was sold for a pittance.

In a spirit of positivity, here are our four player of the month nominations, admittedly, we’re scraping the barrel here. Voting closes at 10pm on Friday night. Desktop users, poll is on the right. Phone users, scroll down.

Max Clayton

Clayton finally made his comeback from injury and scored the late equaliser against Coventry which claimed our sole point this month.

Zach Clough

Obviously no longer our player now. In his final month in a Wanderers shirt, he scored two goals, including the parting gift of a free kick against Charlton at the weekend.

James Henry

His loan from Wolves was extended at the start of the January window, and he had two very good performances in the FA Cup, including that goal at Selhurst Park. He’ll most likely get regular football between now and the end of the season, which will help.

Josh Vela

Still a case of, if Vela plays well, Bolton might play well. Was probably the only player who played well against Charlton, although hasn’t been effective in recent games when he has had to play deeper.
