Jlloyd has been talking about last season and the highlights…!

‘Staying in the top-flight is the highlight of Bolton’s season. It has got to be. And for me, being involved so much in our last few games is a personal high note.

‘Getting the draw down at Stamford Bridge in our final game of the season was very nice too. There was lots of talk beforehand; I don`t think people thought we would stay up to be honest and we weren`t given much of a chance playing Chelsea away. But we gave it everything we had. We wanted to end our season on a high and we did it.

‘The defeat we had at Aston Villa was a wake-up call. If we hadn`t have had that we would have been relegated. Simple as that. But we pulled together and got ourselves out of a difficult situation. The fans did their part too. They were amazing and gave a lift to everyone.

‘It was my first season at the Reebok Stadium and I’m pretty happy with the way it went. I was definitely happier because of the run I got at the end. You always enjoy it more when you are playing and I wanted to help Bolton out of the situation we were in.’
