Chung-Yong Lee is one of those that is coming to the end of his contract, a year seems a long time but this soon passes and in footballing terms isn’t much time at all.

Rumours continue to link the South Korean with an exit from Bolton but Dougie Freedman has told the Bolton News this week that he knows this year is a ‘crucial year’ for both player and club.

The boss knows that the best thing for Wanderers has to be taken into account and if it is in the clubs best interests for him to move on, should a serious offer come in, then he will basically have to go.

Freedman does insist that he wants to keep the winger though but with his form hit and miss should an offer anywhere near the reported £2m come in you’d expect him to leave wouldn’t you?

As it is Lee should be back in training with Wanderers come Monday with Freedman expecting it to be business as usual….

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
