Lee Off To The World Cup

Lee Chung-Yong has been selected in the South Korean squad going to the world cup finals in Brazil this summer.

The winger, who overcame a serious leg break earlier in his Bolton career, chipped in with four goals and almost double the amount of assists (as you’d expect from a winger) with his championship form enough to keep him in the squad.

With over 50-caps for his country, fitness permitting, the 25-year-old was always likely to be in the world cup squad anyway.

I dare say some Bolton interest will now be shown in Korea’s group H, with them battling against Russia, Algeria and Belgium.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
