Gary Madine ended the season with Blackpool on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, who have now released him. After turning down Birmingham he’s coming to the Macron Stadium by all accounts.

Craig Davies has left and as yet Eidur Gudjohnsen and Emile Heskey haven’t signed the new contracts on offer so we do need some new attacking talent with the 24-year-olds arrival to be confirmed, potentially by the end of the week?
Assuming this deal does come off it might not go down to well with all as Madine isn’t a player without his fare share of controversy….
Madine’s had his brushes with the law, firstly handed community service after being found guilty of ABH in 2010 and he was then handed an 18-month jail sentence when he was found guilty of ABH and GBH in 2013.
