Maher Stays At Blackpool

Young defender Niall Maher will continue to gain valuable first team experience at Bloomfield Road with Blackpool.

The 19 year old full back is yet to make a senior appearance for us, but he moved to Lee Clark’s side initially on a month’s deal back in January, and Blackpool have now moved to firm that deal up until the end of the season.

Bolton have agreed, and having made three appearances for them since arriving at the club and only missing out on their game against Brentford last night owing to a slight groin problem, he’ll be looking to add to his appearance number this weekend and in the coming weeks.

Maher made his first professional start last weekend in their game against Blackburn Rovers.
