No Jutkiewicz Rush

The departure of Marvin Sordell to Burnley on Friday was meant to herald a move for Luka Jutkiewicz.

However the Bolton News is saying that Bolton will ‘not be rushing a bid’ for the Middlesbrough striker, who has been linked to both Derby County and more recently Wolverhampton Wanderers.

25-year-old Jutkiewicz is said to remain keen on a move to the club but has impressed Boro boss Aitor Karanka since his return to pre-season training with his attitude ‘praised’, it remains thought that he still wants to sell the striker to ‘the highest bidder’.

Bolton might not be able to wait too long for him but it is still questionable if the finances are in place to match a reported £1.3m asking price?

What Wanderers have spelt out quite clearly in the past 24-hours or so is the fact that they will not be drawn into a ‘bidding war’ for the striker, and rightly so.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
