You can talk about players signing boosted a clubs morale and the like but when you have a key figure commit their future to the club too this can be worth as much, if not more?
This is exactly what Tim Ream has done by signing a new three-year contract extension with Bolton meaning he will now be with the club until the summer of 2017 at least now!
A work permit hearing has proven successful so last seasons Player of the Year has extended his stay, which he tells the official website he is ‘really pleased’ to have done so as he attributes his development to the club and is happy where he is.
Ream told the official website: ‘I’m really pleased to have extended my deal here.
‘I certainly feel like I’ve developed as a player during my time over here and with my family we’re settled in the local area.’
This really is great news for Wanderers isn’t it and will boost confidence going into the new season even more….
Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.
