QPR owner Tony Fernandes has played down reports linking Darren Pratley with a move away from Bolton.
On Tuesday we mentioned that Darren Pratley could be leaving Bolton Wanderers after five largely miserable seasons.
The Bolton News had reported Queens Park Rangers had made a move last week and it seemed that the captain, with his large wages, could be out of the door.
Rs chairman Tony Fernandes is a regular tweeter and with news of the possible deal swirling along social media, mainly Bolton fans rejoicing and QPR fans wondering what is going on, Fernandes replied to a few in an attempt to shoot the story down.
‘Amazed that fans believe everything they read in the press,’ was his first reply.
He then followed up with another reply, stating the story was ‘not true by a million miles.’
I can’t see there being smoke without fire. Let’s see what happens…
