England captain Rio Ferdinand claims that fans who booed Ashley Cole during England`s game against Kazakhstan are ‘immature and ignorant`. Oh, the irony.
This is the same Rio Ferdinand, who accidentally kicked a female steward at Chelsea last season, whilst in the midst of a temper tantrum, after a game in which he`d come to blows with Claude Makelele and Didier Drogba. Not that this was an isolated incident. In March 2007 Ferdinand blasted the ball into crowd at Old Trafford when a refereeing decision went against him, injuring another woman.
Mr Ferdinand needs to put those stones away. Otherwise, that glass house of his could sustain considerable damage.
