The latest championship fixture this afternoon will see Bolton back at home once more.

Neil Lennon will take charge of his first Bolton fixture at the Macron Stadium this afternoon when Brentford are the visitors.

Lennon kicked-off with a one-nil win at Birmingham City last weekend, which cost Lee Clark his job, and our chances could be improved with the possible returns of Joe Mason and Liam Trotter (both hamstrings).

Mark Davies’ (knee) issues are well documented but he should also be involved but Adam Bogdan (fingers), David Wheater (back) and Marc Tierney (broken foot) are all out still.

Brentford can call upon James Tarkowski (suspension) after he was forced to sit out in midweek. Stuart Dallas (thigh) and Tommy Smith (knee) are fit again and pushing for starts with Sam Saunders (knee) back in training after a long-term injury but he’ll not be fit for this one.

You’ve got to go back to 1995 for the last meeting between the sides, we won a league cup tie at Griffin Park on that occasion three-two, which we’ll take again.

Nicky Crompton is in the process of moving, so t’internet access is limited for now, so again a staff writer is helping to fill in!

So, sorry guys you will have my ramblings again for a small while….
