You wait all weekend for a transfer story then three come along at once

Speculation- for the Alex Baptiste and Rob Hall transfers at least- have now finally come to an end. The ‘will he, won`t he`, ‘has he, hasn`t he` debates amongst Wanderers and indeed, Palace supporters, regarding Baptiste`s next destination can now finally draw to a close, after the much coveted right-back was unveiled has a Bolton Wanderers player.

After reading the Baptiste-signing story, initially on Twitter, I then enthused to read the story several times on several different sites throughout the day? I don`t know why? Then, just as I started getting bored of the same outcome to the same tale, my page refreshment revealed a new signing starring a new protagonist.
Only hours after Alex Baptiste said ‘cheese` for the Wanderers cameras, Rob Hall was handed the number 11 shirt to hold aloft for the same flashlights.

Not many disgruntled Palace fans voiced their disappointment after the Baptiste spoiler began to filter through the social networking sites, but a number of discontented West Ham supporters voiced their feelings after Hall was unveiled as a Wanderer. The fans of clubs know their players and it would seem the Irons fans held Rob Hall in high esteem. Not only did a lot of them like what little they saw of Hall, but they also saw a lot of promise in the youth international. With Bolton posing no threat to West Ham`s league position, all the supporters wished him luck at his new club. A view that will obviously change if the Whites win promotion? Football, after all, is relative.

As I sit and write now, I`m continuing to refresh the Bolton News Now page and my Twitter feed in anticipation for the Jordan Rhodes capture. As soon as it comes through I`ll update this page with the details? Or would you rather have Charlie Austin and Craig Dawson with the £9 million we have to spend? I know, I know, but just imagine if we have?

Anyway,in the meantime, welcome to Bolton, Alex Baptiste and Rob Hall.
