Bolton are bring back Kevin McNaughton from Cardiff City this season in a season-long loan deal, but could Cardiff take someone from the club in return?

It is being claimed in the Daily Mail that Cardiff are looking to sign Lee Chung-Yon and an offer of some £2m will be made for the South Korean winger, who is at this stage the longest serving player at the club having arrived from FC Seoul in 2009.

Rumours have also linked him to Hull City and Sunderland with a summer exit not something that would completely surprise too many people I wouldn’t have thought.

Will this be to Cardiff, and for as little as £2m, though?

Come what may with Lee, Burnley have appeared to snap up Lukas Jutkiewicz with him agreeing to a deal after a medical and a fee of £1.5m was agreed with Middlesbrough.

Dougie Freeman refused to give up hope, but looks to have been beaten….

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
