Lee Chung-yong has been linked with a Bolton exit, on and off, for sometime now. Most of this month has seen his named mentioned in connection with Crystal Palace.

Earlier today it was reported that it was highly likely that he would complete a move to the Premier League outfit before the 11pm deadline with a deal, for a fee of around £1m, to take him to Selhurst Park almost done?

The injury that Lee picked up playing for South Korea in the Asian Cup, where his nation ended as runners-up to Australia, isn’t thought to be too bad with a scan on his fractured leg going to give him the all clear to make his playing return later this month, but will this be at the Macron or elsewhere?

Aside from Crystal Palace ‘offers from abroad’ have also been made with the Mail now reporting that his proposed move £1m to Alan Pardew’s side is ‘being held up’ due to his wage demands – one of the highest paid players we have is looking for wages beyond what Crystal Palace are thought to be willing to pay….
