Finally, after ten months of lows and more lows, the absolute steaming pile of canine excrement that is the 2015-16 Bolton Wanderers season reaches it’s conclusion with a trip to Fulham.

Neither game means too much for either side. We’re consigned to finish bottom of the league, and Fulham have avoided relegation but sit in a poor 21st position in the table.

Wanderers will be backed by around 1,200 fans though, and the weather is already nice down in London, so it should be a cracking day out if nothing else.

Vital Quotes

‘We showed against Cardiff what we can do away from home and we need to take that into Saturday’s game. We don’t want to be known as the group who did not get an away win throughout the season – we’re keen to eradicate that.’

Jimmy Phillips in his press conference.

“Tomorrow is important for us, we must do everything to be motivated to win the game, and finish the competition in style.

“We`re in a similar situation to Bolton; we didn`t offer our supporters enough, like Bolton didn`t offer theirs enough. We`re playing at home and it`s our chance to finish this season in style.’

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic speaking to the club’s official site

‘Thank f*** that’s over.’

Every fan upon full time.

Fulham Team News:

Moussa Dembele has a calf injury and is unavailable, having said that Fulham seem to spawn Dembeles like Doctor Whos.

Fernando Amorebieta, Jazz Richards, Sakari Matilla and Michael Madl are also absentees through injury.

Player to watch: Ross McCormack

The obvious answer, but it’s the last game of the season so there. 21 goals this season for the big money signing, and a nomination for the Championship Player of the Year. Fulham’s problem this season hasn’t been finding the net. It has been keeping them out.

McCormack has also been involved in 46% of Fulham’s goals. This is a higher proportion than any other player in the division.

Bolton Wanderers Team News:

Wellington Silva played for the Under 21s in midweek, so he could feature on Saturday and his unpredictability on the flank could give us something extra. On the other hand, what is the point when we won’t see him again?

Gary Madine (officially) and Josh Vela are both injured, while Niall Maher is still serving a suspension.

Player to watch: Wellington Silva

If he plays, he could have something to say in this. Fulham cannot defend and someone with a bit of skill and spontanaiety could really cause the Cottagers problems. On his day, there is no denying Wellington has that.

Match Facts & Stats

We haven’t won a league game at Craven Cottage since November 1992. We did notch up victories though in the League Cup in 2007, and the FA Cup in our run to the semis in 2011.

To carry on the bogey team thing, we have won one of our last 13 league games against these lot. It came in last season’s home game, when we came out 3-1 victors. Saidy Janko scored a pearler.

We need a win to equal Blackpool’s haul of seven away points all season, set last term.

Match Prediction:

I do unfortnately think we’ll complete the set and go the season without an away win. 2-1 to Fulham.

Next Fixtures:

We’ll play someone in August. In League One
