Preview: Bolton Play Some Football Tomorrow as they Travel To Swansea

|

Amidst all the rubbish off the field yesterday and today (I really should have that ready to copy and paste most weeks) there is a football match tomorrow, as Bolton make the long trip to Swansea, another club where they want their owners gone. Sounds familiar.

Team news

Jason Lowe starts a two-match suspension having picked up a tenth yellow card. Luca Connell could make a return, as could Andy Taylor. One is probably more exciting than the other. Swansea will be missing their captain Leroy Fer, who is injured.

Stats and facts

This is Bolton’s first trip to the Liberty since October 2011, when Danny Graham got an own goal for us in a 3-1 defeat. David Wheater is the only Bolton player still at the club.

Bolton have taken just five points from their last 10 league games.

Bolton have lost 23 away Championship games since the start of last season. Only Ipswich have lost more, being beaten 25 times. How rubbish must they be?

Prediction

Bolton weren’t that bad last week, but it’s about backing those performances up. Will they do that? I’m not particularly confident, against a Swansea team who are probably in better form than they have been at any point of the season. 2-0.
