It`s the penultimate month of the season! If you`re not into big words, it`s approaching crunch time. March starts with a visit from AFC Wimbledon, Wanderers are at a cross roads. They`ve rarely played well since Christmas but have seemed to pick up enough points to still have automatic promotion in our hands. The thing is, if we can even entertain the thought of achieving it, our results need to improve. Nine points from six is not promotion form. Wimbledon have been picking up results as good as ours, and won at Scunthorpe on Tuesday.

Vital Quotes:

“We are looking for an identity again, we`re trying hard to find it, but it`s difficult when you are chopping and changing every week through illness, injury and suspension.”

Parkinson, as per the Bolton News.

Bolton Wanderers Team News:

Gary Madine could make his return, which will either horrify or please you. Chris Long is suspended for two games, while Jay Spearing will also be unavailable, but there has been no news about the severity of the injury picked up the other night. Jem Karacan, if he has signed, hasn`t signed in time to be eligible for the game

Player to watch: Gary Madine

All I’ll say: We might find out whether we did miss him up front or not.

AFC Wimbledon Team News:

Chris Whelpdale, he who split his scrotum once, had a groin injury. Poor guy, but he could return to the squad. As could Jon Meades, who had an ankle problem. Barry Fuller is the only absentee, and former Wanderer and now Dons assistant boss Neil Cox has hinted they will switch from the 3-5-2 used in their midweek win

Player to watch: Dominic Poleon

Dominic Poleon scored in midweek, so I`m taking the lazy option. Their goals have been spread about in recent games.

Match Facts & Stats

We have identical form in the last six games, taking nine points each.

Our last meeting was in August when we won 2-1, coming from behind at Kingsmeadow.

We are six points above seventh placed Southend, so it is imperative we start winning regularly

Match Prediction:

I`ll be stupid, and predict a 2-0 win. If we play well, we can do that. Form would suggest a draw.

Next Fixtures:

We travel to Fleetwood for a massive game next weekend. Never thought I`d type that. It`s then followed by a midweek trip to Gillingham. Thank you fixture computer, love, all Bolton fans.
