After two great wins, can Bolton bring that form to the Macron crowd and pick up a third on the bounce? Northampton are the opponents, who have also seen a positive change in their form with three straight victories. With players returning and progress on the off-field front, things may just be clicking for Wanderers. Maybe. Hopefully.

Vital Quotes:

“We have to remember the hard work that got us those results (against Fleetwood and Gillingham). There has been a good work ethic across the team and that is what we need to show against Northampton at the weekend.”

Parky speaking to the Bolton News

Bolton Wanderers Team News:

Jay Spearing has apparently made good progress in recovering from his injury. It`s almost certainly too soon to see him tomorrow, but he may be back sooner rather than later. Expect another unchanged starting lineup.

Player to watch: Filipe Morais

I think we can`t look further than him. A brilliant performer in recent games, with seven assists in two games of football, Northampton boss Justin Edinburgh would be daft if he hasn`t formulated some sort of plan to try and stop him.

Northampton Town Team News:

Can`t find a full rundown of team news, but striker Alex Revell could return from his calf injury. Gabriel Zakuani, Sam Hoskins, John-Joe O`Toole and Zander Diamond will all be absent or are doubts in the case of the last two.

Player to watch: David Buchanan

The man who will be likely up against Morais in the left back position. Good luck pal.

Match Facts & Stats

We lost our last game at the Reebok against this lot, it came in the League Cup second round back in 2008. Adebayo Akinfenwa scored twice in a 2-1 win. I seem to remember Danny Shittu living up to his name. Matt Taylor, who now plays for the Cobblers, didn`t feature that night.

Bolton have won their last couple of games, Northampton have won their last three, beating Wimbledon, Charlton and Port Vale, and sit above us by one point in the six-game form table.

Filipe Morais` four assists the other night was the first time in the top four divisions this season that any player has managed to set up that many in one match.

There could be three ex-Wanderers involved. Keshi Anderson spent a short spell on loan with us earlier in the season, while Gregg Wylde and Matt Taylor are on the opposition`s books.

Match Prediction:

We will score first. Then do we push on, or revert to our defensive ways like in recent home games? If we do, Northampton will have enough to get back into this and it would be a draw. If we push on and get a second, we should be fine.

Next Fixtures:

We`re off to Oxford on Tuesday, then Shrewsbury next Saturday
