Team News and Prediction Ahead of Bolton’s Trip To Lincoln

|

Bolton play one of their billions of rearranged games tomorrow night as we travel to Lincoln City.

The game should have been played in October but heavy rain forced a postponement. Three months on, we’ll get our chance to face them.

We have Luke Murphy available again after a suspension, but Jason Lowe is still banned. Dennis Politic should be back, while James Weir is a maybe, but Adam Chicksen has departed, leaving a question of who plays at left back.

Lincoln’s main threat could be the familiar face in the camp. Tyler Walker spent the second half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan with us, without really doing anything. He has found his scoring boots in League One. They also have Arsenal loanee Tyreece John-Jules, whose uncle played Cat in Red Dwarf. No, really.

It could be a tough one tomorrow. Lincoln are unbeaten in the league at Sincil Bank since Oxford thrashed them 6-0 in September, and we’re not getting results on the road, however well we played or didn’t play on Saturday.

They’re all must win games now if we’ve any hope of staying up, but a point might well be a minor achievement in itself.
