Vital Bolton is nearing its 10th birthday, and over this time the website has featured news, views and articles of all different types.
I have been writing here since July 2014, but have been checking the site religiously for the last several years, and I know many of you have been doing so for longer!
Today I’d like to offer you the oppourtunity to join our writing team. As we near our 10th anniversary I feel that it is important that the quality of this website is as high as possible and to do so we will need a proper team.
No prior experience is necessary- just a love for Bolton Wanderers and a desire to share views. Regrettably, there will be no payment for new Vital Bolton contributors though we can provide many benefits.
What will I gain from writing?
Writers will gain incredible experience, gaining key writing skills and exposure- the site gaining several million hits every year. The platform provided by Vital Football, the largest fan run sport site, suits perfectly any budding writers or fans just looking to air their views.
What will be involved?
I’d love for as many people as possible to join the team, so if you can only commit to the odd article every now and then that is fine, but ideally regular contributors would be best. Articles should be at least 200 words long.

I can honestly tell you that it is a genuine pleasure to be able to write about the team you love and it can also be a very good way to vent frustrations of an under performing team.
